A bit about me...
My name is Caroline, I live in Buckingham. I'm self taught and paint mostly from photos that I have taken on our holidays to Cornwall.
I started painting in acrylics about 5 years ago, but after a trip to Cornwall and painting plein air with Toby Ray at Treyarnon Bay, switched to using oils which I loved but found them extremely messy.
A good friend of mine Gary Smith put me onto artisan oils, and I haven't looked back - many thanks Gary!
I decided to create a website for my paintings as I can paint and frame as I choose.
My beautiful golden retriever Rosie
The name derives from my name and my beautiful golden retriever Rosie who we lost whilst creating this site, she will be forever in my heart. Carose.
I try to do happy paintings, created with love, ones which make me smile and that are uplifting and I hope that extends to you too.
